My name is London; the reasons why my parents chose to fuck me over with such a stupid name are shrouded in mystery, but perhaps it was a preemptive act of revenge for the sins I would go on to commit or because that’s the place I was conceived — guess I could have ended up, if they had been more geographically precise, being called Lewisham, so I should be thankful.
I live in the dull northern city that is not London, with my parents, my 6 year old brother Michael and a psychotic cat. When I am not out doing all that regular stuff teenagers with low self esteem do, I like to read, write, go to gigs, watch movies and try and protect my brother against the mental traumas inflicted by my parents ‘unique’ brand of parenting.
This blog has been really set up as a place to record the bilge that spews from my misfiring synapses; it will at times be a bit emo, at other times be quite funny, but mostly I intend to keep it honest. If some of the content offends you then jog on and go read Marie Claire instead bitches

You can say you have every politician in the country in you.
You can say the Beatles recorded in you.
You can also say that I partied in you, at new years.
I on the other hand, share my name with a patronising chef.

Thanks for the compliment. I have always liked to write, even if alot of what I write is not that structured or well thought out (probably one of the reasons I fit in out here in the blogosphere).
I really do not have your knowledge of politics though, so don’t expect too much insightful commentary from me. It does interest me though. I am doing a Public Administration course, and the most interesting element of it so far has been on government policy.

Hey, I come to your blog through ‘futiledemocracy’s’ page… I enjoy your writing style, and you even had me cracking up reading this ‘about’ section. Futiledem is right, London is a great name! Yes, I imagine it wasn’t/isn’t so great while at school, but such a unique name will go down well in the future! I can just imagine all the fun you have with call centre operatives who think you’re taking the piss!
